Dear KVR Members,
We are happy to announce the release of free updates for Fader Hub, our mixing console software with network connectivity and Axiom, our multi-effects processor for guitar and bass.
This new version of both plug-ins brings new MIDI control features as well as multiple improvements and fixes, with enhanced performance (details below).
About the software: Blue Cat's Fader Hub is a virtual mixing console that features a local mixer for an audio interface, and a network mixer to interact with other workstations or musicians across the network. It also provides multitrack recording capabilities with host synchronization when used as a plug-in. Blue Cat's Axiom is a all-in-one multi effects processor and amp simulator for guitar and bass offering an infinite number of tones. Both products can load third party plug-ins in addition to their built-in effects.
The free update can be downloaded from the same location as the original full version (link received by email upon purchase). Demo versions are available on www.bluecataudio.com in most plug-in formats and as standalone applications for Mac and Windows PC.
What's New in both Axiom 2.07 and Fader Hub 1.01:
- Playback, recording and rewind for the application (to synchronize loaded plug-ins) can now be triggered by MIDI.
- Offline rendering support: hosted plug-ins are now notified when the host is rendering offline (non-realtime).
- Fixed stereo issues in the audio player when loading mp3 or aiff files on Mac.
- Fixed audio recording issues under very low latencies and high CPU usage.
- Reduced GPU usage under MacOS Sonoma, now that Apple fixed their initial graphics performance issue (Sonoma 14.3 and newer required).
What's New in Axiom 2.07:
- Fixed multicore performance issues for Apple Silicon systems (random audio dropouts).
- Improved multicore performance on Intel Macs and Windows PCs.
- Improved audio performance when the application is used as a network server.
What's New in Fader Hub 1.01:
- Fixed target IP address lost when loading presets while the LLAN Mixer section is locked.
- Fixed displayed name for the plug-in installer on Windows.
System requirements:
- Intel or M1 Mac running Mac OS 10.9 or newer.
- Windows PC running Windows Vista or newer.
Enjoy!
