I have a new EP which was just released under the One Instrument music label. This was recorded entirely using the increasingly rare analog Kawai SX-240 synthesizer. When I have people ask what style this project is, before they hear it, I'm at a bit of a loss. It is a bit of space rock, but there are no drums. A bit of Berlin School but not exactly. A bit of grunge rock without guitars. I'm curious what others think.

The One Instrument label is interesting in that they have guidelines for all of the music they release. Artists can only use one instrument to make the track, and no modulating effects other than reverb can be used. The idea is to really showcase the sound of the instrument being used. I was intrigued with the restrictions when I first heard about them, and it led to me eventually doing a project with them. I hope you enjoy the music. I always welcome feedback.
