OK, so I've come to grinding halt in this whole installation process. I'm on an M1 Mac, still running OS Monterey.
Everything (all instruments) are verified as authorized in iLok. Now I gather I'm supposed to dl all the instrument .rar files the authorizations are referring to before they'll get picked up by the UVI player? (The installation video seems to skip over this step, maybe because I've done these auth/download steps out of sequence, authorizing first before dl'ing) Is that correct?
If so, then I have two further questions:
1) Where do the resulting .ufs files go once I have them? Right now they default to my Downloads folder where the .rar files are located.
2) I've already dl'd and unarchived the V2.rar versions of the instruments I purchased in their original versions, should I still dl and install the original ones as well, or are the V2's complete replacements?
