I'm trying to find my way around this mind bending interface...
I've created a short rhythmic pattern and I want to place 4 different chord changes in it.
Is there an internal place for this - (a chord timeline) - or does it have to only be chords triggered by external Midi notes (range of 24 notes starting at C1 - each one representing Chord 1-24) - while also holding down a PlaySEQ note.
When I DO try to "perform" this by holding down the PlaySEQ note and different individual chord notes simultaneously on my controller - each time I switch to a different chord, it stutters and tries to play some string noise effect in between - so it's a mess and the chords don't switch properly. Any way to disable to effects and get notes only? I want to produce continuous with legato sustained stings - not cut off by some slide noise or clunking sound.
I would like to fully program the strum pattern and chords over a period of time - and not have to use Midi notes to trigger anything. If I can get the pattern over into Riffer maybe I can alter the notes to accomplish this... but "Convert pattern to riff" doesn't yield reliable results and seems to ignore velocities. In Riffer the key command don't work on a M1 MacBook Pro.
One little pattern pic - 4 chords. How?
