I am running Remote Control on an Intel Mac with Sonoma 14.5. Remote Control will send MIDI output about 1 out of 10 times I launch the stand alone. I have never gotten the plugin to work with StudioOne. The standalone started sending MIDI output after the software crashed, as it does daily, and even worked for a few days without error.
I am pretty experienced with MIDI as an operator and I can say this software ain't working. I have too many midi devices working just fine. I Contacted support but only receive sporadic responses and there have been no updates to the software for a few years. I was very hopeful to have finally found a solution to control guitar pedals at my desk that would save me programming time and sad to see this fail.
Assuming there is some magic to make the software work, some pedals I want to control only use midi CC values of 0-10 or 0-100, Remote Control seems to always wants values 0-127 for CC value. Is it possible to limit the upper range of a CC value? I've tried to use the %max but that crashes the software most of the time, though it does work occasionally after the crash.
Any updates are appreciated for the $50.
