What I've been trying to do is to use a Note Event Pad to attenuate the Gain of an Amplifier module.
The closest I can get is the Parameter Value Generator which does set the Gain to -00db when pressed, but I would like it to reset to it's previous value when you let go.
The whole purpose is to assign a hardware controller to three of these NEP's so that I can control 3 bands of an EQ by muting each momentarily whilst a button on the hardware is pressed. Again, letting go of the hardware button resets the Gain to it's previous setting.
Can that be done? Am I approaching it wrong?
I think what's needed is for the PVG to have a Note ON and Note OFF value. So for example, open the Properties of the PVG and I have set the Min and Max to -00db for Parameter number one. I then tried setting both to 0.00db for Parameter number two, but the second parameter overrides the first.
If each Parameter had the option to respond to EITHER note on OR note off, it would allow us to create various switches. Unless I've gotten it wrong?
