Bitwig • MIDI Controller with Moss Script can't write arranger automation

I have a MIDI controller (Sparrow 4x100) using the Driven by Moss script. I'm able to write automation if record is on, but if I only press the Write Arranger Automation button it doesn't write. I've attached a screen shot of my settings.

Any idea what's going on?
