When working on editing MIDI Clips, tweaking a melody for example, playing for a section, tweaking, I find Waveform MIDI Editor incredibly annoying because the MIDI Editor's zoom and position keep getting slightly off from the timepoint where I'm editing.
I can disable Autoscroll so that it doesn't follow the overall transport
But if I need to navigate the Arranger a bit, then inevitably my MIDI Editor is now incorrectly placed in Zoom & Position because it seems fundamentally,
_the Arranger and MIDI Editor Zoom and time position seem to be Tied Together._
I can't hit the lock button in the MIDI Editor, because when the Arranger moves, it actually goes nuts
I basically have to keep hitting the F in the MIDI Editor bottom right for Zoom-to-Fit --- like 10 times a minute.
- 2nd problem: If I open the MIDI clip up, Zoom-to-Fit, and try to edit a note at the end, say the last quarter note. The MIDI Editor usually shifts a bit to the right, which means my clip is no longer centered in the Editor. I have to hit Zoom-to-Fit _again_ to see the whole clip properly.
Is there some way around this?
