Sound Design • Dean Martin's Recording/ Capitol Studio Process

Hello everyone. I have not been able to find clear answers anywhere, so I am writing in the hope of getting them here.
If anyone knows, please share how the recording on Capitol Records went, in particular, Dean Martin's albums before the 60s (which are published in monophonic format) are interesting.

I know that his vocal was often recorded in U47, but there are other details - how many microphones were in the room on average (I understand they were mixed after all, albeit in mono), what signal was sent through the echo chambers (vocals - that's for sure, but was it vocals from an isolated booth or with the whole orchestra from the room, or maybe the whole mix), whether there was dubbing or vocals were recorded with the orchestra live (I know that at that time Capitol had a two-track tape, but how they used it)?

I'm new to historical recording techniques, but I really want to explore the whole process in every detail, from the beginning of the recording session to the end
