I'll try not to mix up the terminology here, but...
If I'm in the arrange window, and select a clip, I can right click and say "loop selected region", and it will set the start and end points of the playback loop to match the start and end times of the clip.
This is exactly what I want, EXCEPT...
Instead of a clip, I want to select a particular section of a swipe comp. In other words, if i'm swipe comping vocals, and I am in the detail editor below looking at the stack, and have just a fragment that is from, say, the yellow track, then I want to select just that yellow section and set the loop points of the arrange track to match it's start and end points.
If I try the same method by right clicking on thee section within the detail editor, there is also a "loop selected region" option, but if I do it there, it instead sets the loop points for the detail editor, and then loops that section within the clip in the arrange window without changing the arrange window loop points.
Is there any way directly or otherwise to instead grab the endpoints of the section within the detail editor and apply those to the ARRANGE window loop points?
